In 1992 Donald Kimball founded Crest Consulting Engineers to provide structural engineering, architectural engineering and consulting services. Andrew Krauklis joined as a principal shortly thereafter. In 2003 David Nelson became the third principal bringing an architectural and interiors practice to the firm. The firm’s name was changed to K2N CREST (two K’s and an N) to reflect both the expanded new practice as well the continuation of its original practice.
